Dr Adam Fox read Medicine and Neuroscience at Cambridge University before completing his clinical training at University College, London. Having completed specialist training in Paediatric Allergy in 2006, he is now a consultant and joint clinical lead of Allergy at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals, London.

Adam recently chaired the Department of Health commissioned RCPCH National Care Pathway for Food Allergy in Childhood and was a member of the National Institute of Healthcare and Clinical Excellence (NICE) clinical guideline development group for the assessment and diagnosis of food allergy in children. He is currently an Expert Advisor to NICE on Allergy and also an executive member of the British Society of Allergy & Clinical Immunology. Adam was awarded ‘Paediatric Allergist of the Year’ by Allergy UK in 2007.

His particular interests are food allergy, gastrointestinal allergy, immunotherapy and medical education.

Lucy is the lead bariatric surgery dietitian for the North London Obesity Surgery Service at the Whittington Hospital in North London. Through her company, Nutrifit Health, she also offers private consultations to members of the public at The Sudbury Clinic in London.

She appears regularly in national written press as well as radio and television, and is the co-presenter and dietitian of The Food Hospital on Channel 4. Other recent appearances include stints on The One Show and Watchdog. She responds quickly to new nutritional stories on BBC breakfast, news 24 or writing articles for press. In the past, she has chaired the London Branch of the BDA.

Lucy recently had her first child and in her spare time she works on her Masters in clinical research with the University of Manchester.

Dr Ellie Cannon read medicine at Cambridge University and then completed her clinical training at the Royal Free Hospital, London. She spent five years in hospital medicine, before embarking on a career in General Practice. She is a member of the Royal College of GPs.

Ellie currently works in a busy inner city NHS practice as well as a private practice. She has a very family-orientated practice, specialising in children’s health from newborns to teenagers.

Ellie combines her clinical and media work with her “proper job” – being a mum to her two children. She is the resident GP for the Mail on Sunday and Woman magazine. Ellie also writes a regular health column for the Jewish Chronicle and appears regularly on TV, most recently as the doctor on Sky Living’s “Slave to Food”.
