How is Lactofree tested?

Lactofree is lovingly made to the highest standards and we carefully test our products throughout every stage of the production process. We carry out rigorous scientific testing using the most accurate UKAS–accredited tests available, which enable us to detect lactose at the trace level of 0.03%. At this detection level our tests show that there is no lactose present in Lactofree.

Accreditation details:

The test used within the Lactofree production process is highly sensitive and the independent laboratory is accredited1 to UKAS2 standards to conduct the test.

1 A statement from an independent expert organisation that certifies that certain people or laboratories are competent to carry out certain tests.

2 UKAS – The United Kingdom Accreditation Service is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection, and calibration services. Accreditation by UKAS demonstrates the competence, impartiality and performance capability of these evaluations.
