Mum Leanne had her hands full with twins – and then they were also diagnosed as lactose intolerant!

Just three months after giving birth to twins, Leanne noticed that they needed excessive nappy changes and screamed in pain just five minutes after drinking milk.

A trip to the doctor returned a diagnosis of lactose intolerance. The twins were put straight onto a lactose free baby formula and quickly improved, but things became difficult again during the weaning process.

As Leanne says, “When they started to wean, I realised how restricted I was as I couldn’t give them yogurts or cheese.

Thankfully she found Lactofree and can now introduce them to all those things!

As recommended by our Advisory Board, from six months old, you can incorporate Lactofree fruit yogurt, soft white cheese and semi-hard cheese into weaning, just as you would with regular dairy.
