Recipe of the Month
We love receiving (and trying out!) all the lactose intolerant friendly recipes sent in by our community members and every now and then we like to showcase one!
This month we’d like to say a special thanks to Julie Francis for adding her creamy Spaghetti Carbonara dish to our recipe section.
Using Lactofree Whole or Semi Skimmed, this dish is completely lactose free and could also be gluten free (by using gluten free spaghetti) if you like. Julie makes the dish with bacon and suggests that you can also add extra diced ham to be even more indulgent!

Any leftovers can be frozen so that on busy evenings all you need to do is whip up some fresh pasta and defrost the sauce! Unfortunately, as Julie says, don’t expect any of the crunchy bacon bits to make it to the freezer, as they’re so good they’ll always get eaten up the first time round!
