Make Your Own Milkshakes!
Children and the big kid in all of us love milkshakes and there’s no reason why lactose intolerance should mean we miss out.
We’ve put together some delicious milkshake recipes for you to try – all you need is some Lactofree, a blender and a little imagination.
2 sweet red apples (peeled, cored and chopped)
2 cups chilled Lactofree Whole or Semi Skimmed
2 tpsp white sugar
2 tbsp crushed ice cubes
In a blender, blend all the ingredients except crushed ice cubes. Pour the milkshake in a glass and top it with crushed ice cubes or slivers of apple peel.
Frozen Banana-Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip Milkshake

2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
1 cup Lactofree Whole or Semi Skimmed
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
Cut the bananas into chunks and blend with the peanut butter, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Add the chocolate chips at the end and pulse or blend briefly until they are chopped and incorporated.

1 cup Lactofree Whole or Semi Skimmed
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and fluffy.
