LEGO Snacks
While the sun is out, the weather hasn’t been behaving so far, so you may need to find a few indoor activities to keep the kids busy this summer holiday.
When we came across this idea for a lactose free snack, we simply had to share it. This lactose free recipe combines delicious Lactofree ingredients and a traditional favourite – LEGO!
The recipe is so simple that the kids will love getting involved and the result is a fun, Lego-brick style snack (without the lactose of course). You may just need to let the kids play with their food before they eat…
What you’ll need:
2 slices Lactofree Semi-Hard Cheese
12 rectangle crackers
3 tbsp Lactofree Soft White Cheese
How to make your LEGO snack:
1. Slice the Lactofree cheese and, using a round cookie cutter, make 8 small circles. Set aside.
2. Spread roughly half a teaspoon of soft white cheese on a cracker, top with another cracker. Spread this cracker with soft white cheese and top with another cracker (four in total).
3. Add two small dollops of soft white cheese on the top cracker and add a circle of cheese to each cracker.
4. Voila! A lactose free Lego building block made from crackers and cheese.
