We know just how much discomfort even the smallest amount of lactose can cause, so we have developed our brand new lactose detector tool to ensure that you are always well informed.
If you are ever unsure of the lactose content of a food item, simply type its name into the tool to find out.

When you enter a search term, the tool highlights any relevant information in red, making it quick and easy for you to find what you need, as well as telling you if your item is lactose free. The tool will also let you know which commonly related items you need to watch out for. For example, if you enter “nuts” into the tool, you’ll find that they are lactose free, but roasted nuts will need to be checked.
The tool also includes some common food labels such as lactems, sodium caseinate and lactoflavin to ensure that you know exactly what you are eating.
