Disappointed at the relatively short life for a longlife product! There is no way I would get through 100 of these in less than 2 months. Also there is no store anywhere near where I live. Such a shame.

I agree – a longer life would be better. Plus – when will they be available againx

I love the idea of the portion packs but can’t use 100 at a time. Paying £10 for 2 litres in tiny packs seems exorbitant, compared with normal pack price of under £3.00 for 2 litres. £7.00 is one heck of a price for the cardboard!

Why no stockists inthe tyne & wear regionx Its such a great idea but I would rather go without than pay the prices stated above! Having to buy 100 at a time may be ideal for suppliers but not for individuals. Hope to hear some good news soon!

I agree with the above, I ordered one of the first packs and are now having to use them up on breakfast cereals and drinks at home. There are no Welsh Asada stores on the list selling the longer life ones now available and I wish I could find a supermarket selling the individual ones at 5 for 50p that were mentioned when these individual packs were first promoted – anyone know anywhere in Walesx

Glad to see theres more of them but come on, the price is just silly for what you get, if they wr sold in smaller packs in supermarkets I would buy them evey week but as it stands, too many reasons not to buy a box of 100 at the %(=caps)OMG% price of a tenner plus 4 quid delivery. Al stick to using a small bottle for now, fab idea tho, price lets the idea down though.

I agree with all the aforementioned comments. I am going to try and visit one of the asda stores if I can make it, however, the price for the packs plus postage is on the expensive side of things. I tend to order my groceries online quite a lot and I was disappointed that the portion packs weren’t available online at asda. Unsure on what criteria the company decided to prioritise the portion packs when we are still lacking some decent butter for our cooking…

Been to the Livingston Store twice now and they do not stock the small cartons. There is 5 Adsa stores in Glasgow selling it but no stores in Edinburgh or anywhere else around Scotland. I would really benifit when at work, in training events and overnight away. Just have to wait till im in Glasgow again.

Rather expensive for amounts. I agree shelf life is poor. No stores in area where I live so I suspect I will have to go back to plan B and travel with a supply in a container. Not ideal but too expensive to purchase 100 with a minimal shelf life, smaller amounts eg 25 and 50 would be better.

Having portion packs is great. It would be better if they were sold in the plastic type finger packs that you get with normal uht portion pack milk. I took them in my handbag on holiday and found that they were really bulky to carry. Its great that they now have a longer shelf life.

Hi all - thank you for your comments. The next batch of portion packs is available to pre-order online now and they have a longer, three month shelf life! The portion packs are only being offered in a limited number of Asda stores during the trial stages of this new product. We apologise or any inconvenience, please keep an eye on the forum and our Facebook page for updates. http://bit.ly/ddydhT

Ordered a box of the portion packs and they were really handy to take out and about. We were able to order teas and coffees for the 1st time in years. However, with the shelf life being so short, we did throw out a significant amount! Even with a new 3 month shelf life, this is going to be too short for such quantity. That said, I doubt I will be buying more for a long time. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! Can we please have smaller boxes of 50 or double the shelf life to 6 monthsx While I'm here, could you please change the cap/spout on your 1L longlife cartons to the same as on the fresh Lactofree cartons. The longlife are a nightmare to pour when opened. The milk goes everywhere except in the cup for the first 1/2 dozen cups or tea! Great product idea, just needs a bit more marketing thought.

I would love to be able to buy portion packs but have not sent for them because I would not be able to use 100 in 2 months (I would use about 2 a week). My life has been transformed since discovering lactofree milk and cream cheese

I agree with all of this. Buying 100 of these would mean throwing a lot away although it is a great idea. A short shelf life means they won't last, same seems to apply to your long life milk in the shops. The comment on opening your long life cartoons is so true. Also there are no stockists for small cartoons anywhere in Wiltshire and every shop here seems to have dropped the lactofree yougurts meaning I'm not left with much choice, it's soya or nothing. Putting online stores such as Asda and Tesco don't help. We need a proper stockist who deal in Lactofree that we can order direct from and who will deliever smaller cartoons of this great idea on travel milk.
