We want to thank you for continuing to send your comments, suggestions and personal stories of lactose intolerance, all of which help us to make Lactofree even better for you. So when you contact us, we listen.

Many of you have mentioned how you would love to have Lactofree in smaller portions. Sheila told us: “I have just tried your milk as I have realised that I am probably lactose intolerant. I was pleasantly surprised, but do you, or will you ever think of selling some small portions that one could take around with you, to use at restaurants or friends houses?”

So to allow you to take Lactofree everywhere you go, ensuring you’re never without the perfect cup of tea, our developers are working on a 20ml portion pack of Lactofree dairy drink in an easy to use triangular container – perfect to carry with you.

Now we just need to know what you think!

If you complete our survey on the new 20ml portion pack, as a big thank you one lucky respondent will receive £100 of Marks and Spencer vouchers.

Two words:- %(=caps)LACTAID% and %(=caps)DAIRYEASE%. Once again we are ten years plus behind the US. If you too are Lactose Intolerant ask everyone you know who travels to the States or US military BX or PX etc to bring some back. Then you also can eat ice cream cheese etc or just eat out. UK based Lactase enzyme costs are extortionate in comparison.

i have only found out about 6 months ago that i was lactose interolant and think the lactofree is great, the thing i really miss is cream. i have tried many soya ones and they are not nice at all. it would be great if cream could be made like the lactofree items, also the yoghurts i love but i feel they are expensive for 4 pots it would be good if you could have a bigger pack for that price. also maybe produce a carton like the natural yoghurt.

my 3 year ols has just been diagnosed as lactose intolerant. I was delighted to find your milk as I didn’t want to have to go to soya and risk him losing the nutrients he needs at his age. I am finding it hard though to purchase your cheese and yoghurt at all my local supermarkets despite on your listing them showing that they do stock them. also it would be helpful to be able to purchase a pint size of milk.

I have been lactose intolerent for just over a year now, the thing I miss most though, is skimmed milk. I love the lacto free cheese, but I have never really enjoyed milk other than skimmed, its also much healthier. I would like to know if you intend on making lacto free skimmed milk as that would make my tea and breakfast cereals taste so much nicer than they do with semi-skimmed. Thankyou.

I have been lactose intolerant for over 8 years and have been using soya products. These at times have proved difficult to find and some are not very nice. I have just come across the lactofree milk but have not been iable to find cheese or yoghurts in my local supermarket. I look forward to finding them in the future. Do you do cream as well as the soya cream is very wishy washy. I would then be able to make a trifle and have some myself for a change.

Hi, my Doctor always told me i suffered from %(=caps)IBS% and i belived that for years. But i thought i`d cut out dairy for a try as i was in so much pain with bloating(and the other problems associated with lactose intolorance). Tryed soya and all the problems went away. Love milk, and was so glad i found lactofree but as i live in such a small part of england, none of the supermarkets here sell your other products (only milk) or are planning to as i have asked. Please can you helpx

I have been lactose intolerant all my days, Im 50 now, and was diagnosed as a baby, as was my daughter and son. He was given soya milk as a baby so happily takes it. Like many my horrors of milk go back to warm disgusting bottled stuff from primary school long before they listened to parents saying child cannot have it!! I have got used to not having dairy products, but felt a few years ago I needed to do something to try help with problems with bones in later life. I still cannot bring myself to drink milk, and the thought of spread on bread turns my stomach. Have been using soya yoghurts for a few years now but I personally find soya cheese rubbery and it tastes disgusting. It does not melt, you cannot cook with it, and it is impossible to eat as it comes as it tastes disgusting. But I tried this when I saw it in Morrisons in Ayr a few weeks back, and I was very pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. it goes lovely on crackers with thinly sliced apple on top. and oh boy does it go yummy with sliced tomato grilled on toast – cheese on toast for the first time in years tat has no repercussions to the stomach . thank you for this

I’m ceoliac, anaphylactic to the garlic family, severely allergic to numerous things including celery and bananas, can’t eat soya without nausea, can’t eat oats, almonds interfere with my levothyroxine absorbtion, plus about ten years ago my problem with dairy products got so severe that I suffered bleeding in my stomach. In short my diet was bland, boring and depressing. Two weeks ago I tried lactofree milk and cheese. Amazing, I’ve practically lived on cauliflour cheese and cheese on toast since, the brown bits on top, yummy, yummt, bliss. Please bring out a stronger cheddar type cheese though, more flavour please!

I reported earlier how I’d become lactose intolerant recently, and how my friend with Chrones was interested in my non dairy attitude, and how it was helping her. She and her husband are now drinking Lactofree milk and intends trying the two cheeses!!!!!

What a difference a decent cup of tea with Lactofree makes in comparison to all the soya alternatives available which just don’t do it for me. I am in my late fifties (OK I’m sixty in two weeks time) and when I was diagnosed as lactose intolerant I felt pretty miffed. However Lactofree really has given me a freedom to eat foods that I thought I’d lost forever. Just one thing though, please, please can you make a really mature cheddarx

Lactofree has been amazing for us as now we can still enjoy the cheese milk and yoguts without being ill…soya products have an after taste and when you have not been brought up on soya having to make the change is hard..Lactofree range solved the problem….Just waiting for more lines to be introduced into the range and for all supermarkets to realise that this is a great range and to carry the yoguts as they seem to think soya tastes the same..but do these supermarket people eat the range!!!...they should try lactofree range against soya and they woould soon change!!!

How I sympathise with Wendy Charles-Warner and her problems, I understand them well. I was allergy tested for 450 foods about 25 yrs ago and told me was intolerant to more than 350 of them, and yes it makes for very bland eating. I have the advantage of having been born lactose intolerant and feel it is easier for people like me than others who are posting on here that are recently diagnosed and are struggling to change. I have spent years putting up with soya products with no alternative, but Wendys comment ( and I quote complete with spelling error - sorry Wendy...lol)"I’ve practically lived on cauliflour cheese and cheese on toast since, the brown bits on top, yummy, yummt, bliss." made me laugh as my next leccy bill is going to be getting charged to lactofree for the electricity used making toast and cheese under my grill!! cos I have been the same, its pure heaven. good luck to all you newly diagnosed people and to the development team at Lactofree who will keep coming up with new products for us all to try. maybe they need a tasting/testing panel for their new ideas and we might be at the forefront of the next generation to need lactofree
