Happy Easter from Lactofree!
There’s a lovely long weekend ahead and with Lactofree there’s no reason why you and your family have to miss out on the tastiest of traditional treats.
These wonderful Easter recipes have been lovingly created by our celebrity chef Lesley Waters, Team Lactofree and two of our budding community chefs Mia Botcher and Liz Dunning. We hope you enjoy their recipes and that they inspire you to submit your own favourite dishes to the Lactofree Recipe Club.
Team Lactofree can’t get enough Hot Cross Buns this Easter and we want to share our special lactose free recipe with you.
Mia Botcher’s amazing Chocolate Truffle Easter Eggs are a special treat for all the family and her Simple Potato Salad, made with creamy Lactofree Natural Yogurt, is perfect to serve with traditional glazed Easter ham.
It’s a deliciously long weekend, so after you’ve served your Easter meal, there are plenty of Lactofree ways to enjoy your leftovers and to spread your enjoyment over the Bank Holiday…
Substitute salami with your joint ends or go vegetarian with Lesley Waters’ Thyme Popovers.
Create a tasty, lazy brunch by adding strips of meat or leftover vegetables to our Veggie Scramble.
Stir cubes of meat or vegetables into Macaroni Cheese, with Liz Dunning’s Easy Cheesy Sauce, which is lovely with all kinds of pasta or your choice of vegetable.
Bake Mia’s Irish Soda Bread for sandwiches, or dunk into a simple soup – delicious swirled with Lactofree Natural Yogurt.
We want to thank everyone who has submitted their recipes and hope that other members of the community will join in with the Lactofree Recipe Club by submitting their comments and suggestions to existing recipes and adding their own favourite dishes.
Whatever you chose to cook this Easter, we hope that you’re no longer wondering what you shouldn’t eat and instead struggling to decide what you’ll treat yourself to!
Indulge yourself with Lactofree this Easter!
