Lactofree is Positively Blooming!

We hope you’ve noticed how Lactofree.co.uk is flourishing this Spring…

Our Restaurant Guide has been updated and is full of tempting lactose free-friendly options for eating out. We particularly like the sound of The Naked Turtle in London, which is under new management by an owner who is lactose intolerant and therefore creating a full menu specifically for people with food intolerances and allergies. If you’ve visited any of the restaurants in our guide we’d love to hear your feedback and if you find a great restaurant catering for the lactose intolerant, then please add it to the guide.

Lesley Waters our Lactofree Celebrity Chef is continuing to create new recipes exclusively for our community. Nik told us: ‘I made Lesley’s Limey Cheesecake and it was delicious. I don’t suppose she would be able to come up with a lactose free banoffee pie recipe?!’ Lesley welcomes your comments and suggestions and we’d love you to share your own favourite recipes with the community. Mia Botcher has just submitted a lovely recipe for Irish Soda Bread, which is simple to make and deliciously lactose free!

Team Lactofree are also very happy to have a growing number of friends on Facebook and now we’re also on Twitter! The online community are buzzing about Lactofree, one member of our Facebook group, Joanna, posted her comment: ‘Lactofree is fantastic. I have four children, two of whom are lactose intolerant. I buy a lot of Lactofree milk and have just discovered the yogurt – the whole family thinks it tastes better than any normal yogurt. Thank you Lactofree.’ Join our Facebook group by clicking here.
