Win a Month's Supply of Lactofree!

To celebrate the expansion of the Lactofree family, with the recent mouth watering addition of soft white cheese, we’re giving you the chance to win a month’s supply of our products simply by telling us how you most like to enjoy the new Lactofree Cheese!

Kate Hudson said: ‘I’ve been living lactose free for 19 months and used to love cream cheese, so I’m really looking forward to trying the Lactofree soft white cheese.’

Perhaps the new soft cheese recipes from our celebrity chef Lesley Waters will inspire you…
Warm peppered chicken and pear salad with cream cheese and mustard chive dressing, hot smoked salmon cheese pate on bruschetta, and limey baked cheesecake.

There must be a cream cheese dish you can’t wait to try…?

The tastiest three dishes will win free Lactofree products for a month and have their recipes featured on the website and in the monthly newsletter when the competition closes on 27th February. Email your recipes and photos to Team Lactofree.

Go on, make our mouth water!

In the meantime, if you have any problems locating the cheese or any of the Lactofree range, then please use our Stockist Request Service to submit a stockist request form and we will contact your local supermarket.

The soft cheese when it launched in Feb will be ideal for my 2 year old’s pack up for nursery, just can’t seem to find the hard cheese anywhere, just get blank looks when i ask supermarkets if they stock it!!! My little boy adores cheese and usually has it with most things but since he was diagnosed, he is suffering, lol! The cream can be found in Sainsburys.

I have been lactose intolerant for 5 years and before that I lived off cheese. I have tried the soya makes and they are all awful. I manage a pizza factory and I am surrounded by lovely pizza all the time, the first thing I did when I found Lacto Free cheese was to make a pizza! Me and my two boys knelt down in Morrisons to pay respect to real cheese again. Well done for such a fantastic breakthrough!!

This has just made my day as I have a 9yr old & a 6mth baby who are LI. I can now make them cheese on toast using wheat-free bread, another issue, and start to boost their diets! Does anyone know if I can cook using lactofree for the baby as her prescription formula doesn't cook well! Can't wait to make tortillas, omelettes, pizza & show my children that there is still a great choice of foods for anyone suffering from food intolerances that tastes & looks the same as everyone elses!

cant wait to try the new ‘soft cheese’....i just hope i can find it because my local supermarkets dont even stock the hard cheese or the yogurts…only the milk and that is if they havent run out!! grated cheese on spag bol, home made cauliflower and pasta bake…cheese on toast or just slicing off some of the cheese and eating it on its own…..it really is delicious!!..would love to see a more mature/stronger hard cheese though and of course ICE-CREAM and milk chocolate….i’ve gone off swedish glaze (substitute for ice-cream) and plain chocolate can get very boring…how about a lactofree double decker!! keep up the good work lactofree!

Myself and one of my children both suffer from lactose intolerancy and threfore I opt for the Lactofree products wherever and whenever possible. We’ve got a fantastic ‘yoghurt cake/bun’ recipe which is lacto-free, healthy and seriously tasty! Red & Blackcurrant Buns 1 carton Lactofree Yoghurt (both raspberry and strawberry are equally tasty) THEN USE THE TUB TO MEASURE OUT THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS 1 carton organic Sunflower Oil 2 cartons organic soft Brown Sugar 3 cartons Self Raising Flour 3 x eggs 1 tbsp Organic Blackcurrant Cordial 1 tbs boiling water 200g mixed organic redcurrant and blackcurrant berries (washed and removed from stems) Mix all the ingredients up in a large mixing bowl until the mixture is well mixed and light and airy. Spoon into bun or muffin cases (should make two dozen). Bake for 10-20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees centigrade. Ready when sponge raises back when touched and golden brown in colour. To Decorate:- Icing Sugar Water 1 tsp Organic Blackcurrant Cordial Blackcurrant or Reducrrant berries (two on a stem) Mix 4 tsp of water with a small amount of icing sugar and add the cordial. Continue adding icing sugar and water to make a deep pink paste. With a palette knife spread the icing on the buns and add one of the pairs of berries. Dust with icing sugar when set. ENJOY!

I LOVE dairy products, and being only 17 i crave eating cheesy/milky things like pizza and lasagne. I miss them so much that sometimes i find my self eating them because there’s no alternative (especially at college). The only problem is my family is a little poor so it’s difficult to find alternative. Thats why I love lactofree! Its affordable, and edible! (I can’t stand soya). I’m a final year university student and a staple of the student diet is cheese and bean toasties. I only found out I was lactose intolerant a month and a half ago and the thought of going without my favourite study snack was devastating. The new cheeses were released just in time for my final semester so I now don’t have to worry about finding a new cheap and cheerful snack to get me through the all nighters.

I have probably suffered a lot longer but never put it down to lactose intolerance. Sometimes the pain would be so bad I would cry!! I use Lactofree to make the best Yorkshire Puds. Just replace Cows Milk with Lactofree, 4 oz SR Flour, pinch salt and 3 eggs. Make a medium batter. Cook on a very high oven for about 20 mins, and you will have huge and very tasty yorkshire puds. Make sure the fat in the trays is smoking hot before putting the mixture into them.
