Lactose Elimination Diet
The lactose Elimination Diet is different to any other diet you may have done before. Rather than to restrict what you can eat, the diet will help you to establish your tolerance levels, which will help you to reintroduce the foods you love that have been causing digestive discomfort. This diet is to help, not hinder your appetite!
What the diet firstly helps you to do is remove lactose from your daily intake for two weeks – if your symptoms improve during this lactose free period then you may be lactose intolerant and need to start the second stage of the diet. Within the second stage, we will help you to gradually reintroduce lactose to your diet in order to assess how much lactose your body can digest without discomfort.
When combating digestive discomfort, awareness of what exactly is going on in your body is the first step to winning the battle and this diet helps you to do exactly that.
Most people can successfully undertake an elimination diet without the help of a doctor, however if you have any concerns whatsoever, you should consult your GP or a health care professional.

Re: Lactose Elimination Diet – Mary Caveney
I didn't know you did cheese and yogurt!! My local main supermarkets only stock the milk. Soya stuff really doesn't do it for me.

Re: Lactose Elimination Diet – diet support
To an extent I agree with the BLOG. Sometimes we may have some diets which can cause negative dicomfort, but in fact good for health. I personally feel eat whatever you want, at the same time do exercise and takediet supportike herbs, pills, etc which can help to burn the excess fat.
