Just because you or your children are lactose intolerant, it doesn’t mean that you have to miss out on the delicious fun of Halloween. Simply make your treats at home with our recipes – with a scary twist!
This week, we asked for our community’s help and offered a month’s supply of vouchers for your super spooky recipes – we got some deliciously scary entries.
Start the day on Saturday with Yasmin’s Fiery Ectoplasm Omelette and then for dinner our Lactofree Ghoul’s Eyeball Pasta is a must.
Dessert could be our Monster Chocolate Cake filled with oozing strawberry jam, topped with a monstrous chocolate face you can have fun creating with your favourite sweets! You could also try another one of our competition entries – Molly’s lactose free Pumpkin Muffins will quickly become a family favourite.
If you’re throwing a party this weekend, try Suzanne’s Graveyard Platter or Adeline’s Mini Jack-O-Lanterns which are sure to be a hit with the kids!
All the recipes submitted were incredible, but there could only be one winner. Congratulations Yasmin – your Fiery Ectoplasm Omelette has won you a month’s supply of vouchers.
Happy Halloween from Lactofree!
