I was getting very sick on and off for about a year and even ended up in hospital for a few days. Eventually I had to leave my lorry driving job. After this I noticed that I got really sick and bloated and really bad migraines after eating or drinking dairy.

One time we nearly missed a flight to our holidays as I could hardly get out of bed. I had just eaten my cereal and had to go back to bed as I was so sick. It was after this that I stopped having any dairy, only soya which I never liked, and as I have arthritis it was bad that I wasn’t getting any calcium for my bones.

Then my wife brought home this new product, a cool looking Lactofree milk for me to try as she was worried about me not having any diary. I knew nothing about lactose intolerance so it was hard trying the milk in my cereal as I knew how sick dairy usually made me. I am so happy to say it was totally delicious and, best of all, no after effects!

I have now nearly completed the elimination diet and what an amazing difference living lactose free has has made to my life. I think the biggest improvement is in my head as I am no longer needing tablets for a sore head, my mind is much clearer and I have more energy to enjoy with my young son. My stomach has really gone down, I am thin anyway, but it was weird having what looked like a pregnant belly some evenings after too much lactose.
