Lactofree is a Godsend

Before I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance, I suffered from horrific stomach pains. My stomach often made the most outrageous noises too, which was embarrassing and made life unpleasant.
Lactose intolerance had a massive impact on my life before I received a diagnosis. I would avoid going out, and certainly avoid eating and drinking with others. I was also suffering from diarrhoea, which made work a nightmare. I had to take a full dose of Imodium just to get through a meeting!
Having suffered for long enough, I went to see my doctor, who referred me to a specialist. I saw a gastroenterologist and I had endoscope examinations, tests and barium meals that all came back clear. Following that, I was referred to a dietician, who managed to diagnose me as lactose intolerant straight away!
When I was diagnosed, I searched the Internet for lactose free dietary advice, and found Lactofree. It is easily available at my local supermarket; I had just never noticed it before because I hadn’t needed it! I have now cut out all regular dairy products, and replaced them with Lactofree. Thanks to these great products, I can now take sandwiches to work again! Having grated cheese on jacket potatoes again and being able to make homemade pizza is wonderful! Lactofree Long Life is wonderful for making tea during the day at work. I always have a carton in the fridge and my colleagues all know I use it.
Lactose is hidden in all sorts of food and I had to cut it out of my diet entirely before I was able to reintroduce small doses and build up a small tolerance again with the Elimination Diet. Lactofree really is a Godsend and means I am able to enjoy food normally for the first time since my symptoms began!
