A Valentine to Lactofree

Oh how I love thee,
Your skills at taking away the pain from my stomach,
feels me with such pleasure,
that I can’t but burst into verse.

There was sadness and woe,
the day I found out I couldn’t handle the lactose,
with much weeping and cries for the taste of dairy,
would I ever feel nourished again?
such emptiness I found inside.

Then all of a sudden came a shining face of a cow,
telling me how,
I can once again enjoy milk from a cow,
weeping my wet eyes dry,
I saw the wonder that ever will be Lactofree,
so for this great joy i now possess,
I thank you from the bottom of my digestion tract.
