In June 2009 the AA rated Church Farm Guest House & Restaurant as Highly Commended 4 star accommodation, also awarding a breakfast & dinner award to Basil’s Restaurant.

Basil’s Restaurant at the Church Farm Guest House has a menu that changes daily depending on what is in season and good from market. Our fish comes from Brixham direct from the boats and everything else is sourced locally from farms and regional producers to really offer you top quality food.


The style is both modern and British and whether you fancy just one course or want to go all out and have four, the standard is excellent. Each day there is a choice of three starters, three mains, pudding and cheese all for a fixed price. We can also cater for specific dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten/lactose free, celiac) with a little notice, and if there is something you really fancy to eat why not try us with a phone call prior to coming, you never know we might be able to squeeze onto that night’s menu for you!


Basil’s Restaurant is open to non-residents from Monday to Friday only and is only available for party bookings on Saturdays.


Church Farm Guest House is not a licensed establishment, therefore if you would like wine with your meal, please bring it with you! (Corkage charge applies)
