The Living Room’s focus remains on sourcing the best quality ingredients, preparing them simply and delivering bags of flavour and texture on the plate. This is good, honest, robust and stylish food with its origins firmly in the European tradition. There is nothing frilly or fancy.
The Living Room cater well for allergies and intolerances and there are many dishes on the menu that are lactose free. The branch in London, Islington are particularly knowledgeable as one of the managers is lactose intolerant!

Re: The Living Room – Lactofree Support
Hi Derry, we do not currently have any restaurants in the Portsmouth area in our guide, but we are always researching new lactose intolerance-friendly places, so hopefully there will be soon. Do share any good findings with us too!
