Ingredients
30ml/2tbsp peanut oil
375ml/1-1½ cups peanut butter
80ml/⅓ cup water
80ml/⅓ cup soy sauce
250ml/1 cup Lactofree Semi-Skimmed/Whole
250g/1 cup brown sugar
80ml/⅓ cup lime juice
30g/2tbsp garlic powder
15g/1tbsp paprika
cayenne pepper to taste
Method
1. In a saucepan, mix together all ingredients but the cayenne pepper and heat on a medium temperature until smooth.
2. Add the cayenne pepper a pinch at a time, until the desired flavour is achieved.
3. Serve with rice noodles, shredded carrots, bean sprouts, cooked chicken, or any other meat/vegetable choice.

I read somewhere that peanut butter contains lactose. Is there a lactose free version or do I not need to worry? I love peanut butter and it's one of the things I'm really missing since I've cut out lactose!
