Tutti Fruitti Smoothie
by Lesley Waters. Posted on 28/11/2008
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
1 large ripe banana, peeled and chopped
115g/4oz raspberries
115g/4oz strawberries, hulled
200ml/7 fl oz chilled Lactofree Milk
½ a 125ml pot of Lactofree Strawberry or Raspberry Yogurt
4 large ice cubes
Method
1. Put 2 large glasses in the freezer to chill.
2. Place all the ingredients into a liquidizer (reserve a few raspberries for decoration) and blend well until smooth.
3. Pour into glasses and top with a few fresh raspberries. Serve straight away.
Health notes
This is a delicious, healthy and refreshing drink with less than 3g fat per serving. A serving will also provide 2 portions of fruit towards your 5 a day and no sugar is added, the sweetness comes entirely from the fruit. For variety and best value, try making similar smoothies with different seasonal fruits. Peach or nectarine with strawberry and banana also make a great combination with Lactofree Strawberry Yogurt and Milk.

Re: Tutti Fruitti Smoothie – Max
My sons girlfriend is lactose, dairy and wheat intolerant since finding your products in the supermarkets it has made adapting meals to include her eating the same as we do I subsitute with your lactose free products. Unfortunately for around the last few months we have been unable to find yoghurts in any of the stores locally - when I asked the local morrisons they said they did not stock them anymore could you tell me where I can get them from? I do live only a few miles from ashby-de-la-zouch can the products be purchased directly from there?

Re: Tutti Fruitti Smoothie – Lactofree Support
Hi Max, sorry to hear that you have been having difficulty locating Lactofree in stores. Please use our handy stockist search here: http://www.lactofree.co.uk/what-is-lactofree/stockists/ and check out which online retailers stock Lactofree: http://www.lactofree.co.uk/what-is-lactofree/stockists/retailers/ as if your local stores do not stock Lactofree, you may be able to get them delivered to you directly. Also, glad to hear that meals for your son's girlfriend are easier to put together now, we would love for you to share your favourite recipes here with us at the recipe club and to hear if you have tried any of those currently listed.
