Creamy Carbonara

Ready in no time, this easy recipe creates a deliciously creamy and lactose free Italian classic in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
150ml Lactofree cream
Knob of Lactofree spreadable
250g spaghetti
1 shallot or small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
6 rashers of streaky bacon, chopped
2 eggs
Instructions
1. Boil a large pan of water and cook the pasta according to the packet instructions.
2. Heat a knob of Lactofree spreadable in a small frying pan and cook the shallot or onion, garlic and bacon for 5-7 minutes until golden.
3. Beat together the Lactofree cream, eggs and plenty of ground black pepper.
4. Drain the spaghetti and return to the pan, off the heat. Add the fried shallot/onion and the cream mixture and toss together until the pasta is evenly coated.
5. Serve with ground black pepper and your fresh parsley or your favourite herb.
